Mental exercise is more important than physical exercise.

For example, especially if you look at the trend of the last 20-30 years, you will know that all the western countries like America, Europe, England etc. developed countries always talk about physical exercise, but you will see in India’s old and even now that they always talk about mental exercise. To calm the mind, to meditate, to control the mind, I advocate more for doing yoga and not for physical exercise.

The question arises that why India has given so much importance to mental exercise while western countries have given importance to physical exercise.

The simple answer to this is that the mind is the king of the whole body and the body is the slave of the mind. The person whose mind is under control is calm, is a picture, that body is a child. I would like to explain this with an example that when you would have felt and experienced. Then when you are in some big problem, the whole body becomes tired and starts aching and it seems that there is no life left in the body.

But while there was tension in the mind, why did the body get troubled because the body only follows the instructions of the mind without any question, meaning if the body has to be kept healthy then it is necessary to keep the mind healthy first.

Let us take another example when you are very tired, lying on the bed and you do not have the courage to pick up a glass of water, then you do not drink water even if you feel like drinking water, but you get a call from your loved one or loved one. If we have fun together today or have a party, then the mind becomes happy And you immediately get ready and drive all the way to meet him. How come till now you were not able to lift a glass of water? This is possible because the mind has instructed the body to go and meet him, so the body is Only follows the orders of the mind.

I hope you have understood why the mind should be kept healthy because the mind is the king of the entire body and the body is the slave of the mind.
