It is very important to think about doing some work, but do not keep thinking so much that the importance of doing that work is lost.
As we all know that before doing any work in life, one should think about that work, gather information, take advice from people and one’s well-wishers.
I also want to say that you guys should do all this work but do not spend so much time that we waste months and years in this work that the importance of the work gets lost and then you stop doing that work. There may be no worth left or no interest in doing that work and at this time it is more important to do any work very quickly and on time.
For example, when Corona came to India, we needed large quantities of PPT KET and masks and the government very quickly took a decision and made arrangements for PPT KET and masks, due to which the scope of Corona was reduced to a great extent in our country India. It remained limited, but in many countries, the condition of those countries which delayed in taking decisions and kept thinking that arrangements would be made from somewhere worsened.
In India, without wasting time in thinking too much, we took decisions in which, despite having a population of 1.4 crores, we were much less affected by America whereas the population of America is equal to that of our one state Uttar Pradesh, 30 crores, because the government there and Decision makers wasted too much time in thinking.
This is the rule I adopt in my life that you take decisions and move forward. Everything cannot be thought of now. As you move forward, whatever problems arise, decisions will be taken accordingly and solutions will be found, not all the time. For work, just sit at home and keep thinking that we will do this, we will do that, we will do this, just do it and move on.
Yes, it is important to think, discuss, take advice but do not waste too much time and move ahead and consider as per the need. This quality is present in our great businessman Ratan Tata Ji. He says that any decision is right or wrong. It doesn’t happen, I first take a decision and then act on that decision and make it right. He says that after taking the decision, I never think about whether it was right or wrong, I just act on that decision and make it right. |
